
It's a sad day in music history. Jazz Master Max Roach died at age 83. Max was, and still is, an amazing influence on my playing. He was also the main influence on John Bonham. If you listen closely, you can hear the similarities between the two.
Well, on a much more happier note, I'll be hitting the road later today for about 2 and a half weeks. I'll try not to die and make sure I take lots of pictures.
