Hot Water Beach

I forgot to mention that I almost tripped over a hedgehog when I was at Cape Reinga a few weeks ago:

For a second I thought it was a Kiwi Bird, but no... :( Still I did not know that hedgehogs exist in New Zealand, making it a goofy experience.

Anyyy wayyy, I went to the hot water beach this weekend and it was awesome until I burned the bottom of my feet countless times in the boiling water. All ya gotta do is dig a hole to sit in, and the water slowly heats up. It's like your own personal sauna. The only difference is the threat of high tide...
